Betty Jo Rogers was born to Luther and Hazel Wheeler on December 21, 1943 in San Francisco, California and died at 64 years of age on March 19, 2008 in Medford, Oregon.

Betty was a housewife and mother who enjoyed time with family as well as home decorating, working in her yard, and crafts. She was a member of the Lady Elks as well as The Eagles Auxiliary.

Betty is survived by her husband of 19 years, Kenneth; son, Don Hanscom and wife, Tracie, of Talent, Ore.; son, Dennis Hanscom and wife, Laura, of Talent, Ore.; stepson, Mark, of Portland, Ore.; stepson, Todd, of Benton City, Wash.; stepdaughter, Sheri, of Portland, Ore.; stepdaughter, Heidi, of Baker City, Ore.; Nine grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceeded in death by her parents; sister, Glenna Dias; and son, Ron Hanscom.

A memorial to celebrate the life of Betty Jo Rogers will be held on Saturday, March 29th, at 1:00 p.m. at Conger- Morris, Medford. It is the family's request that all contributions be made to Humane Society.
