Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

A special Divine Liturgy will be served at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday, July 20-21, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z, before the parish annual rummage sale begins. The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Great Vespers begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. The Hours will be read at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, July 22. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Services at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, at Oakdale and Fifth streets, Medford, begin at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, July 22. Due to remodeling, access to the church is via a temporary ramp. The food pantry will be open from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday next door to the church at Hafer House. Book study is held every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A new book will be started next week. A single service will be held Sunday, July 28, with no 8 a.m. service that day.

Christ Unity Church

Worship begins at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 22, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford, with the Rev. Rob Wheeler’s talk, “Make The Choice.” At 11 a.m. Wednesdays, a silent unity prayer service is held, followed by a Bible discussion at 11:30 a.m. A hands–on sacred healing service is held at noon every second Saturday of the month. Medford Congregational United Church of Christ

First Presbyterian Church

Pastor Murray Richmond will start a new sermon series with “Follow the Yellow Brick Road,” at both the 8:30 a.m. informal service and the 10:30 a.m. traditional service at First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., Medford. The informal service features more contemporary music led by the Son Shine Singers in a casual atmosphere in the Fellowship Hall. The traditional service is in a formal sanctuary with arching stained-glass windows and a huge pipe organ. The church will feature special music throughout the summer, this week supplied by the Pick Up Choir made up of members of the congregation, some of whom are in the Chancel Choir and some who just like to sing. Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley

In her message at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 22, at Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley, at the Scottish Rites Center, 3581 Lear Way, Medford, the Rev. Kimberly Hawkins will explore the spiritual lessons from the movie “Peaceful Warrior.” Musician Liz Jones will be joined by her two sons, Adam and Curtis, on guitar and drums. Medford Christian Science Church

Medford Christian Science Church, 111 Genessee St., meets from 10 to 11 a.m. Sundays. It welcomes young people up to the age of 20 in its Sunday school.

Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Services begin with gathering music at 10:25 a.m. each Sunday at 87 Fourth St. in Ashland. This week, members of the Worship Team will share their answers to the question, “What do Unitarian Universalists believe?” Religious Explorations classes are available for children.
