A workshop focusing on planning for long-term care will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at the Santo Community Center, 701 N. Columbus Ave., Medford.
Participants will learn how planning can help protect retirement savings and give people options on the type and quality of care they receive, according to a news release. They will also learn about the cost of home health services compared to assisted living and nursing homes and ways to pay for them.
Linda Clarkson and Cheryl Baumgarten of Futurity First Insurance Group will present. The event is hosted by Medford Parks & Recreation.
