{p class="sbodytyperr"}This year's lineup of more than 100 films includes documentaries, features and short films, along with filmmaker discussions, community conversations, children's programs, live shows and art exhibits. The festivities will run Thursday through Monday, April 6-10, at the Varsity Theatre, Ashland Street Cinemas and the Historic Ashland Armory. {p class="sbodytyperr"}Bathtub Gin Serenaders

{p class="sbodytyperr"}This jug-band jazz ensemble — without the jug — will play pre-World War II hot jazz and early blues at 7 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Hilltop Music Shop, 205 N. Phoenix Road, at The Shoppes at Exit 24, Phoenix. Look for music by Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith, Django Reinhardt, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and more. {p class="sbodytyperr"}The storyteller and folk singer will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Havurah Shir Hadash, 185 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Like her father, Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, Neshama captures the imaginations of people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds. {p class="sbodytyperr"}Semi-Toned presents 'Games of Tones'

{p class="sbodytyperr"}All the way from the University of Exeter in the U.K., this a cappella group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. The show includes a combination of singing, humor and playful choreography. Tickets are $27, $30 or $33, $19, $22 or $25 for ages 18 and younger, and can be purchased at the box office, 16 S. {p class="sbodytyperr"}Fallen Theory and Chrysalis

{p class="sbodytyperr"}Metal bands Fallen Theory of Eugene and Chrysalis of Southern California will share the bill at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Howiee's on Front, 16 N. Front St., Medford. Chrysalis is touring behind its 2017 album, "Reminder," and Fallen Theory behind its 2016 "On Truth We Choke." Members of Rogue Valley band TallBoy will open the show with an acoustic set. There is no cover for the show.
