Felony arrests

Drugs — Joe Vernon Geronimo Robinson, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Robinson Tuesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and delivering and possessing heroin, misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth, unauthorized use of a vehicle and second-degree forgery, and for violating his parole on a prior meth-delivery conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Auston Lee Lindsey, 23, of the 1800 block of Marsh Lane, Medford. Central Point police arrested Lindsey Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Susan Ruth Pridy, 67, of the 1500 block of Valley View Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Pridy Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Jonathan David Cureno, 33, of the 2100 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Cureno Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of fourth-degree assault, coercion, harassment, interfering with someone making a police report and violating a no-contact order. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $600,000 bail.

Sexual Abuse — Brian Phillip Page, 57, of the 2500 block of Thorn Oak Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Page Wednesday on five felony counts of second-degree sexual abuse and two felony counts of third-degree sodomy. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $52,500 bail.

Drugs — John Thomas McCutcheon, 50, no known address. Medford police arrested McCutcheon Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior third-degree robbery conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Identity Theft — Latasha Maigen Pech, 36, no known address. Central point police arrested Pech Wednesday on two felony warrants charging her with identity theft. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Sexual Abuse — Steven James Van Ert, 57, of the 2900 block of North Foothill Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Van Ert Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 2500 block of Corona Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday. A Pioneer car stereo unit and tire-changing tools were reported stolen. The loss and damage to the vehicle’s ignition and back seat was valued at $465.

Theft — 600 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a matte black mountain bike with red lettering at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $5,000.

Theft — 2900 block of Juanipero Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to a beige brick building at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $1,000.
