Tickets for Britt Festivals’ 2018 shows go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. today. On Thursday, tickets were still available for all concerts in the 2018 lineup, with reserved seating sold out for Chris Isaak and limited on several other shows. Reserved and lawn seating tickets will be available online at www.brittfest.org, in person at the box office at 216 W. Main St. in Medford, or by phone at 541-773-6077.
Britt anticipates a high volume of sales Friday, and advises patrons to plan for long lines. Waiting lines can be bypassed by purchasing reserved and lawn seating tickets online. Tickets purchased online may be printed at home or uploaded to a smartphone and used for concert entry.
The 56th annual Britt Music & Arts Festival kicks off with a reggae and world music-infused week, featuring eight-time Grammy winner Ziggy Marley, on Tuesday, June 12, followed by a double-header with Britt fan favorite Michael Franti & Spearhead on Saturday, June 16. This year’s Best of Britt fundraiser, benefiting Britt Education and Engagement, brings the eclectic jazz stylings of Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox to Britt on Thursday, June 21.
Britt patrons will have access to new and expanded reserved seating this year. Improvements include new benches, ADA ramps, a new ADA seating section , better lighting in the reserved seating area and improved sight lines for both the reserved and lawn seating areas.
Britt’s summer’s lineup features 37 performances. Other notable artists include Violent Femmes, comedians Rodney Carrington and Jeff Dunham, Primus & Mastodon, Ann Wilson of Heart, Arlo Guthrie & Janis Ian, Straight No Chaser, Rebelution, Brandi Carlile, guitar impresarios Rodrigo y Gabriela, Grammy Award winner Peter Frampton, Portugal.The Man, Jason Mraz, Trombone Shorty, Boy George, Jake Owen and Lyle Lovett.
