Boy Scout Troop 112 tree sale

Ashland Boy Scout Troop 112's 59th annual Christmas tree sale is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2,  and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Elks Lodge parking lot at Lithia Way and First streets in downtown Ashland. This year they will have noble fir trees from a tree farm.

Scouts will be on hand to help select the best tree, carry it to your car and tie it on top, if needed. Prices range from $10 to $50.

Troop 112 marks its 59th year of this tree sale that began in 1958. Boy Scout Troop 112 was first chartered in 1915 and is the oldest Boy Scout troop in the state of Oregon. Troop 112 and the Ashland Lion's Club Christmas tree recycling is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 6, and it is recommended that trees are curbside the night of Friday, Jan. 5.
