Forest Service conducts controlled burn in Ashland watershed

U.S. Forest Service crews with the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest plan to conduct a controlled burn on the east side of the Ashland watershed today.

The burn, intended to improve forest health and reduce wildfire risk this summer, will be held about a half mile north of Four Corners, according to a news release from Ashland Forest Resiliency. Smoke could impact the Catwalk, Marty's and Lower Missing Link trails.
