A multimedia presentation on severe wildfires will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Smullin Health Education Center, 2825 E. Barnett Road, Medford.
The 70-minute event will be hosted by Dr. Paul Hessburg, a researcher of fire and landscape ecology with 27 years of experience, according to a news release. There will be “fast-moving, short, topic-based talks interspersed with compelling video vignettes, and features the work of wildfire photographer John Marshall.”

The doors open at 6:15 p.m. for a light reception.
