Felony arrests

Drugs — Scout James Mountain, 21, no known address. Medford police arrested Mountain Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and had been released as of Saturday.

Assault — Albert Ray Howard, 29, of the 700 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Howard Friday on a felony charge of third-degree assault. He was booked in the jail Friday and released as of Saturday.

Burglary — Jacob Allen Rose, 32, of the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive, Medford. Medford police and Jackson County Community Corrections officers arrested Rose Friday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and coercion, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, interfering with someone making a police report and stalking, and on detainers for violating his probation on prior cases of first-degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon and endangering a person protected by a Family Abuse Protection Act order. He remained held in jail Saturday without bail.

Theft — Kyle Wayne Crandell, 27, of the 1800 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. On Friday, Crandell made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Officer Assault — Christina Lee Peterman, 60 of the 2000 block of Brookhurst Street, Medford. On Friday, Peterman made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer and a misdemeanor charge of attempting to assault a police officer. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Assault — Jeffrey Stephen Morris, 43, of the 2000 block of Highway 99 North, Ashland. On Friday, Morris made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of third-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Theft — Amanda Renee Smith, 38, of the 1600 block of Papago Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Smith Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Friday and released as of Saturday.

Robbery — Anthony Dean Potter, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Potter Friday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and third-degree theft. He remained held in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.

Suspended Driving — Donnie Ray Harper, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Harper Friday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He remained held in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail.

Elude — Bradley Wilford Schmitt, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Schmitt Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor count of attempt to elude police on foot and for violating his parole on a prior oxycodone possession conviction. He remained held in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Jeremy Ryan Giblin, 24, of the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Giblin Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of violating a no-contact order. He remained held in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.

Drugs — Lori Michelle Coffman, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Coffman Saturday on felony charges of manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree trespassing and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was held in jail Saturday on $35,500 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Christopher Robert Stoeckel, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Stoeckel Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Impaired Driving — Collin J. Fitzgerald, 29, of Nipomo, California. Phoenix police arrested Fitzgerald Saturday on a felony charge of driving under the influence intoxicants and on a California fugitive warrant. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Assault — Mickey Allen Newcomb, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Newcomb Saturday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in jail Saturday on $20,000 bail.

Aggravated Theft — Todd Ryan Parmelee, 36, of the 12600 block of Highway 140. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Parmelee Saturday on felony charge of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief and trafficking in stolen vehicles, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing charge. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday.

Assault — Andres laris, 21, no known address. Medford police arrested Laris Saturday on a felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.

Mail Theft — Nicolas Stuart Parmenter, 30, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Parmenter Saturday on a felony charge of mail theft and a misdemeanor count of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 4400 block of Hillcrest Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:46 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included an Edge engine programmer and a Glock 27 magazine containing nine hollow-point bullets. The loss was valued at $430.

Vandalism — 2000 block of Spruce Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism at 7:51 a.m. Friday. Damage to a vehicle window was valued at $300.

Vandalism — 1900 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of slashed tires to two vehicles at 9:16 a.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 2800 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen necklace at 9:03 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $2,500.

Vandalism — 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to a motel at 10:33 a.m. Friday. Damage was valued at $1,000.

Vandalism — 600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to a business at 11:00 a.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $500.

Theft — 700 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 4:58 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included Dutch Bros. stamp cards and sleeping pills. The loss was valued at $15.

Theft — 1200 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black and gold Haro BMX bike at 7:27 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $900.

Theft — 3200 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone at 8:29 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $900.

Theft — 1200 block of Progress Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 12:34 p.m. Saturday. A candy red BMX bike with 20-inch wheels and chrome accents was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $2,000.

Theft — 200 block of North Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:10 p.m. Saturday. A SOG knife valued at $69 was reported stolen.
