Assault — Julio Hernan Bombela-Barron, 27, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Bombela-Barron Monday on a felony charge of third-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person, second-degree criminal mischief, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.
Weapon Use — Tanja Laverne Smith, 44, of the 100 block of Cottonwood Drive, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Smith Tuesday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.
Drugs — Joe Randall Thompson, 25, of the 400 block of Second Avenue, Gold Hill. Rogue River police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Thompson on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of identity theft and on out-of-county warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft and identity theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $100,000 bail.
Murder — Aisling Tucker Moore Reed, 28, of the 200 block of North Eighth Street, Jacksonville. Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Moore Reed on a felony warrant charging her with murder, along with previous charges of first- and second-degree manslaughter. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.
Theft — 3500 block of Heathrow Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:05 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included an Apple MacBook Pro laptop, a MacBook Air laptop, an iPad with an electronic flight kit, three guns including the lower portion of an AR-15, ammo and a red cooler containing holsters. The loss was valued at $4,899.
Theft — 200 block of Mt Echo Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a Dyson heater stolen from a vehicle at 10:02 a.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $250.
Theft — 500 block of Dogwood Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen Oregon Ducks tickets at 3:10 p.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $400.
Vandalism — 3000 block of Cummings Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 1:46 a.m. Tuesday. Damage to a front door and bedroom door frame was valued at $400.
Theft — 2300 block of Hempstead Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen tools at 6:44 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $700.
Theft — 600 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen guns at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $375.
Vandalism — 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to a fence at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $250.
