Felony arrests

Theft — Demaris Nicole Lightle, 24, of the first block of Beekman Square, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lightle Thursday on an additional felony charge of first-degree theft, and on misdemeanor charges of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle, fraudulent use of a credit card and second- and third-degree theft. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Lightle Wednesday for violating her probation on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. She remained held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Officer Assault — Dale Vance Alford Jr., 18, of the 2600 block of Montara Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Alford Wednesday on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment, resisting arrest and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He remained held in jail Thursday on $500,000 bail.

Drugs — Alberto Castro, 35, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Castro Thursday on felony warrants charging him with manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving while suspended and for violating his parole on a prior felon in possession of a restricted weapon conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Amber Eileen Nordlander, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Nordlander Thursday on a felony charge of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, delivering and possessing methamphetamine and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior heroin possession conviction. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Michael Cramer Lostaunau, 26, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Lostaunau Thursday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine. He was held in jail Thursday on $17,500 bail.

Contraband — Megan Rae Jean Hannah, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Hannah Thursday on a felony charge of supplying contraband, on misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine, second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior meth possession charge. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 1300 block of Thomas Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 7:52 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a 27-inch Vizio TV, a Sony media player and a JBL outdoor speaker. The loss was valued at $400.

Theft — 1900 block of Marsh Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a set of haircutting shears with pink handles, two sets of clippers, a large black leather tote stamped with skulls, two hair combs and a haircut cape. The loss was valued at $1,374.

Theft — First block of East South Stage Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a black mini motorbike, a Craftsman saw and a Black & Decker cordless drill. The loss was valued at $650.

Theft — 3400 block of Cascara Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen girls purple Trek bicycle at 7:52 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $500.
