Felony arrests

Assault — Scott Henry Balderas, 48, the 800 block of Grant Ave., Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Balderas Sunday on a felony count of third-degree assault and misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering and disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released.

Unlawful weapon use — Alberto Diazaispuro, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Diazaispuro Sunday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor charges of menacing, endangering, prohibited weapon and being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was lodged in the jail on $35,000 bail.

Burglary — Leslie Keith Harper, 49, no known address. Medford police arrested Harper Sunday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor contempt of court charge. She was lodged in the jail on $25,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 300 block of Homes Avenue, Medford. Medford police responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Saturday night. The vehicle’s window was broken into and a purse and various credit cards stolen for a total loss of $310.

Theft — 3500 block of Shawna Drive, Medford. Medford police responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Saturday. A yellow Fender five-string bass guitar was stolen for a total loss of $600.

Vandalism — 700 block of Beekman Avenue, Medford. Medford police responded to a report of vandalism Sunday afternoon. A glass door was vandalized, resulting in damages totaling $150.
