Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — David Dewayne McDaniel, 41, of the 7900 block of East Antelope Road, Eagle Point. Central Point police arrested McDaniel Tuesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine delivery conviction. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Weapon Use — Warren Alexander Rich, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Rich Wednesday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, a misdemeanor charge of menacing and for violating his parole on a prior charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was additionally charged in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday with felony counts of first- and second-degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, attempted first-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He remained held in jail Thursday without bail.

Assault — Collin David McLaughlin, 31, of the 1800 block of Sage Road, Medford. Medford police arrested McLaughlin Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, and on misdemeanor charges of strangulation and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Weapon — Jon Charles Winchester, 61, no known address. On Wednesday, Winchester made his initial appearance on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm, and misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and concealed possession of a dangerous weapon. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Assault — Kaitlyn Rose Roberts, 20, of the 200 block of Wyner Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Roberts Thursday on a felony charge of third-degree assault, a misdemeanor charge of strangulation and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine.

Drugs — Ryan Paul McGill, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested McGill Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing hydrocodone, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior aggravated identity theft charge. He remained held in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Contraband Conspiracy — Daniel Norman Ziegler, 41, of the 1900 block of Marsh Lane, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ziegler Thursday on a felony charge of conspiring to supply contraband. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force originally arrested Ziegler Sept. 19 on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, and for violating his parole on a prior meth delivery conviction. He remained held in jail Thursday without bail.

Assault — William James Kelso, 20, no known address. Ashland police arrested Kelso Wednesday on a felony charge of third-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and first-degree intimidation. He remained held in jail Thursday on $2,500 bail.

Assault — Alejandro Almirall-Nieves, 21, no known address. Ashland police arrested Almirall-Nieves Wednesday on a felony charge of third-degree assault, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing and first-degree intimidation. He remained held in jail Thursday on $2,500 bail.

Drugs — Brandy Nichole Sanchez, 35, of the 1600 block of Franquette Street, Medford. Medford police and Jackson County Community Justice probation officers arrested Sanchez Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior vehicle theft conviction. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Alora Lynese Fulbright, 29, of Klamath Falls. Central Point police arrested Fulbright Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was held in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Elude — Jeffrey Charles Wanetick, 29, of the 700 block of Rogue Air Drive, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Wanetick Thursday on a felony charge of attempt to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of attempt to elude police on foot, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, driving while suspended and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released.

Criminal Mistreatment — Melissa Ann Whitman, 40, of the 500 block of North Riverside Avenue, medford. On Thursday, Whitman made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment, and on misdemeanor charges of falsifying business records, second-degree theft and possessing oxycodone. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Andrea Rose Hollaway, 28, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hollaway Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, possessing greater than an ounce of methamphetamine, first-degree child neglect, supplying contraband and conspiring to supply contraband. She was held in jail Thursday on $80,000 bail.

Police Impersonation — Traves Daniel Barisich, 41, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Barisich Thursday on a felony charge of impersonating a police officer and a misdemeanor charge of concealed possession of a firearm. He was held in jail Thursday on $12,500 bail.

Theft — Stephen Sidney Taylor Jr., 40, of the 1500 block of Hondeleau Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Taylor Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was held in jail Thursday on $12,500 bail.

ID Theft — Joshua Callaghan Pecktol, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Pecktol Thursday on a felony charge of identity theft, misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, second-degree forgery and resisting arrest, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering and possessing heroin and first-degree child neglect. He was held in jail Thursday on $42,500 bail.

Drugs — Megan Elizabeth Sills, 24, of the 3500 block of Avenue H, White City. On Thursday, Sills made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.
