Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Sydney Marie Sutherland, 21, of the 13200 block of Ramsey Road, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sutherland Tuesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle. She remained held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $20,000 bail.

Assault — Lindsey Renee Johnson, 41, of the 11300 block of Wagner Creek Road, Talent. Talent police arrested Johnson Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Dallas Rhett Allison, 30, no known address. Central Point police arrested Allison Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, delivering marijuana and felon in possession of a firearm, and on a misdemeanor charge of possessing marijuana. He was held in jail Wednesday on $50,000 bail.

Criminal Mischief — Spencer Patrick Cyr, 20, of the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. On Wednesday, Cyr made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Tina Marie Zarate, 35, of the 600 block of Belmont Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Zarate made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, and delivering and possessing heroin. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Michael Robert Thacker, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Thacker Wednesday on a felony warrants charging him with delivering and possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior coercion conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Pedro Sanchez, 21, of the 400 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Sanchez Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.


Crime reports

Burglary — 2300 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a large flat-screen TV, a black portable speaker, an older DeWalt power tool combo set and two Harbor Freight Sawzalls. The loss was valued at $847.

Theft — 2300 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a shoplifted Arlo security camera system at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,100.

Theft — 300 block of Portland Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Schwinn Sidewinder bike at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $300.
