Felony arrests

Contraband — Matthew James Collier, 29, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Collier Thursday on a felony charge of supplying contraband and possessing heroin. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Collier Sept. 30 on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine, first-degree trespassing, second-degree criminal mischief and for violating his probation on a prior second-degree burglary conviction. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Forgery — Daniel Douglas Britt, 24, of the 600 block of Talbot Street, Eagle Point. Ashland police arrested Britt Thursday on additional felony charges of first-degree forgery and identity theft. Medford police originally arrested Britt Oct. 5 on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine, first-degree forgery, and first-degree theft, misdemeanor charges of possessing meth and second-degree forgery, and for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He remained held in jail Thursday without bail.

Destructive Device — Alberto Diazaispuro, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Diazaispuro Thursday on an additional felony charge of manufacturing a destructive device. Medford police originally arrested Diazaispuro Sunday on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon, possessing a prohibited weapon, a misdemeanor charge of menacing, and for violating his probation on a prior unauthorized use of a vehicle conviction. He remained held in jail Thursday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Craig Steven McCurdy, 28, of the 2000 block of Carton Way, Grants Pass. Central Point police arrested McCurdy Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was held in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail.

Assault — Abigail Faiths Brady, 20, of the 1400 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Brady Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, a misdemeanor charge of harassment, and on a detainer for a previous charge of fourth-degree assault. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Daryl Lee Melfi, 47, no known address. Talent police arrested Melfi Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of providing false information to police and failing to display an operators license, and on an out-of-county warrant for violating his parole on a prior identity theft conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Sex Abuse — Joshua Michael Sullivan, 22, of the 500 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sullivan Thursday on four felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one felony charge of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He was held in jail Thursday on $65,000 bail.

Assault — Patrick Keith Hirt, 52, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hirt Thursday on felony charges of third-degree assault constituting domestic violence and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was held in jail Thursday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Donald Blake Byers, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Byers Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and interfering with police, and for violating his parole on a prior fourth-degree assault conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

ID Theft — James Trygve Burud, 45, of Portland. On Thursday, Burud made his initial appearance Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of identity theft and first-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Sex Offender — Kipper Keith Lindenmuth, 54, of Roseburg. On Thursday, Lindenmuth made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of failing to report as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Christopher Lee Johnson, 33, no known address. Medford police arrested Johnson Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, on a warrant for violating his probation on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction and for violating his parole on a separate methamphetamine possession conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Matthew James Pearson, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Pearson Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. He was held in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Theft — Tasia Talena Padilla, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Padilla Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with first-degree theft. She was held in jail Thursday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Jeremy Jason Rymer, 38, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Rymer Thursday on felony warrants charging him with manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, and delivering meth with 1,000 feet of a school. He was held in jail Thursday on $57,500 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen backpack at 2:31 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $200.

Theft — 1900 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen metal Radio Flyer wagon at 4:42 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $160.

Vandalism — 1300 block of Brentcrest Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday. The damage to the driver-side window, rear window and windshield was valued at $950.

Theft — 1200 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen trash can containing refundable cans and bottles at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $700.

Theft — 2300 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen TuffyPacks ballistic shield at 9:12 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $200.

Burglary — 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 10:51 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet and numerous pairs of sunglasses made by Oakley, Nine West, Columbia Sportswear and others. The loss and damage was valued at $13,824.

Theft — 100 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen phone in a white case with blue rhinestones and starfish at 11:46 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $400.
