Felony arrests

Elude — Juan Gabriel Camacho, 36, of the 300 block of O’Gara Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Camacho Tuesday on felony charges of attempt to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and driving while suspended, and for violating his parole on a prior meth possession conviction. He was later charged in Jackson County circuit court with additional misdemeanor counts of interfering with a police officer. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Sex offender — James Lee Goodell, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Goodell Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, possessing methamphetamine, possessing heroin and second-degree theft, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior first-degree forgery conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Weapon — Ralph Edward Jones Jr., 37, of the 2600 block of Hawaiian Avenue, Medford. Central Point police arrested Jones Tuesday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday.

Sex Offender — Robert Wayne Wilson, 49, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Wilson Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 900 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:33 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a beige Coach purse, makeup, Versace sunglasses, wallets, a checkbook, birth certificate, keys and bank cards. The loss was valued at $902.

Theft — 900 block of Nadia Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:49 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included keys to a truck canopy and trailer hitch receiver lock and coffee punch cards. The loss was valued at $210.

Vandalism — 3000 block of Bullock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a door at 2:21 p.m. Monday. The damage was valued at $300.

Vandalism — 2600 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 4:40 p.m. Monday. Damage to the vehicle’s ignition was valued at $500.

Theft — 400 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Volkswagen key fob at 6:50 p.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $500.

Theft — 1500 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Huffy beach cruiser bike with baby seat at 8:14 a.m. Tuesday. The loss and damage to a Master padlock was valued at $170.

Theft — 2900 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Senco brad nailer at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $169.

Theft — Roxy Ann Tower Access Road and Roxy Ann Road. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a black cell phone, a red Marmot jacket, and a red backpack. The loss and damage to a vehicle window was valued at $1,105.
