Felony arrests

Animal Abuse — Jose Manuel Jimenez Jr., 29, of the 2400 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Jimenez Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree animal abuse, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Sex Offender — Richard Lee Aguilar, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Aguilar Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and on an out-of-county warrant for violating his probation on a prior strangulation conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Theft — Bradley John Bond, 33, of the first block of South Stage Road, Medford. On Tuesday, Bond made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and for violating his probation on a prior driving while suspended conviction. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.
