Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Sydney Marie Sutherland, 21, of the 13200 block of Ramsey Road, Gold Hill. Central Point police arrested Sutherland Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, attempt to elude police on foot, recklessly endangering another person and driving while suspended or revoked. She was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Attempted Burglary — Devon Anthony McDonald, 25, no known address. Medford police and Central Point police arrested McDonald Friday on a felony charge of attempted first-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of first- and second-degree trespassing, providing false information to police, second-degree disorderly conduct and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree arson conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Coty James Meilicke, 24, of the 800 block of Bennett Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Meilicke Friday on felony warrants charging him with manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine. He was held in jail Friday on $57,500 bail.

Identity Theft — William Walter Campbell III, 33, no known address. Medford police arrested Campbell Friday on a felony charge of identity theft, misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and attempted second-degree burglary and on a sanction for possessing methamphetamine. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
