Felony arrests

Elude — Irene Jasmin Santos, 39, of the 1000 block of North Berkeley Way, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Santos Tuesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and reckless driving. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Ashley Marie Auger, 31, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Auger Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a misdemeanor charge of violating her parole on a misdemeanor methamphetamine delivery conviction. She was held in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.

Elude — James Dooley Leighton, 23, of the 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. On Tuesday, Leighton made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of attempt to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Aggravated Theft — Martin Taylor Zukis, 38, of the 200 block of Joseph Drive, Talent. On Tuesday, Zukis made his initial court appearance on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Christina Mechelle Flud, 35, of the 200 block of Tolman Creek Road, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Flud Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, second-degree child neglect and second-degree trespassing. She was held in jail Tuesday on $47,500 bail.

Marijuana — Kevin Edward Ellsworth, 52, of the 1900 block of Erin Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Ellsworth Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with unlawfully delivering and possessing marijuana, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with possessing methamphetamine and hydrocodone. He was held in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Melvin Morgan Sullivant, 47, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sullivant Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine and possessing cocaine. He was held in jail Tuesday on $50,000 bail.

Identity Theft — Miranda M. Linville, 27, no known address. Ashland police arrested Linville Tuesday on five felony counts of identity theft, one felony count of first-degree theft, and on misdemeanor charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree theft. She was held in jail Tuesday on $70,000 bail.

Identity Theft — Jackson Anthony Batzer, 27, no known address. Ashland police arrested Batzer Tuesday on five felony charges of identity theft, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was held in jail Tuesday on $67,500 bail.

Drugs — Ricardo Mireles-Barrera, 35, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Mireles-Barrera Tuesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing cocaine and identity theft. He was held in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.
