Felony arrests

Identity theft — Jaime Gonzalez Castro, 27, of the 600 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Castro Saturday evening on felony counts of identity theft, as well as counts of failing to appear on other identity theft charges and a count of parole violation on a meth distribution charge. She was lodged in the jail without bail.

Assault — Samueal James Roberson, 22, of the 3500 block of Cherry Lane, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Roberson early Sunday morning on a felony count of domestic violence assault. He was booked into the jail and released.

Officer assault — Kenneth Justin Brown, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Brown on a felony count of assaulting an officer, and misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, interfering with a police report, first-degree criminal trespass, and parole violations and failing to appear on earlier drug charges. He was lodged in the jail without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 300 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Friday of a stolen iPhone valued at $400.

Theft — 500 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday morning. A video doorbell was stolen for a total loss of $99.

Theft — 100 block of Schultz Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a motor vehicle theft Sunday morning. A truck bed, transmission and miscellaneous other parts were stolen for a total loss of $200.
