Felony arrests

Robbery — Nya Abrie Cartwright, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Cartwright Friday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Theft — Christopher Jack Labrecque, 28, of the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Medford. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Labrecque Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft, and for violating his parole on a prior weapons conviction. He was remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Criminal Mischief — Shawn Eric Stein, 43, of West Linn. Talent police arrested Stein Saturday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, possessing methamphetamine and supplying contraband, and on misdemeanor counts of reckless driving and hit-and-run. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $37,500 bail.

Elude — Joshua Richard Doyle, 38, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Doyle Saturday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor counts of reckless driving and second-degree criminal mischief and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior weapon use conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Assault — Danielle Christine Trotter, 50, of the 4500 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Trotter Saturday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault witnessed by a minor and two misdemeanor counts of harassment. She was booked in the jail and released Saturday after posting bail.

Altering Firearm ID — James Brandon Beckham II, 30, of the 2900 block of Fairview Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Beckham Saturday on felony charges of altering a firearm identification number and felon in possession of a firearm, misdemeanor counts of third-degree theft and second-degree trespassing and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior second-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1300 block of Brentcrest Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen radiator at 2:02 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $100.

Burglary — 2900 block of State Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 3:01 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included six bottles of cologne, two containers of methadone, a diamond necklace and two cartons of Marlboro Black cigarettes. The loss was valued at $695.

Theft — 2300 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen beige purse, Samsung Galaxy S8 phone and accessories. The loss was valued at $975.

Burglary — 2000 block of Manchester Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 8:47 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a 13-inch Apple MacBook laptop, a silver HP laptop, a black HP touchscreen laptop, PlayStation 4 console, PlayStation 3 console and a Michael Kors purse. The loss was valued at $4,600.

Theft — 500 block of Mace Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 10:23 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included four 10-gallon buckets containing hand tools, a milk crate full of tools, a red HP laptop, a green drill, table saw, electric sander and electric nailgun. The loss was valued at $1,940.
