Felony arrests

Burglary — Thomas Lee Thorpe, 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Thorpe Tuesday felony warrants charging him with first-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor warrant for second-degree criminal mischief and for violating his probation on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Oscar Cruz Orozco, 22, of the 2700 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Orozco Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, on misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot and interfering with police and for violating his probation on prior convictions for fourth-degree assault, strangulation, coercion and fourth-degree assault. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Tara Louise Colombe, 26, of the 3000 block of Cummings Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Colombe Tuesday on felony warrants charging her with manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Joshua Callaghan Pecktol, 26, of the 3000 block of Blackthorn Drive, Medford. Eagle Point police arrested Pecktol Tuesday on a felony charge of delivering heroin and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Sex Abuse — Clarence Jean Hildenbrand III, 37, of the first block of Crater Lane, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Hildenbrand Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.

Contraband — Shanna Marie Stone, 23, of the 2300 block of Gramercy Drive, White City. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stone Wednesday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor charges of first-degree trespassing, third-degree theft and possessing methamphetamine and heroin. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Lydia Mae Davis, 27, of the 100 block of Ball Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Davis Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a sanction for violating her parole on an earlier heroin-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Burglary — Sue Ann Phillips, 61, of the 6900 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Phillips Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Burglary — Theresa Elaine Rodinsky, 41, of the 6900 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Rodinsky Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. She remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Nicholas John George, 33, no known address. Medford police arrested George Wednesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and felon in possession of body armor, misdemeanor charges of interfering with police and resisting arrest, and for violating his probation on prior third-degree robbery and meth-possession convictions. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $37,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1700 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included benchmark and skinning knives, red backpack, a camouflage backpack, animal rattle box, animal calls and camouflage wallet containing a Social Security card. The loss was valued at $781.

Theft — 1900 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included Oregon Trail and CSL Plasma cards, a coffee gift card, and an Oregon ID card. The loss was valued at $261.

Theft — 200 block of Liberty Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a silver knife, a black knife with a handle that looks like a gun, a tan and white Beverly Hills Polo purse and a Bluetooth speaker. The loss was valued at $200.

Theft — 1100 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen Pokemon cards, Walking Dead dolls among other collectibles at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 2500 block of Argonne Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen orange Kubota riding lawnmower at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $1,200.

Theft — 1500 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen red Yeti Beti mountain bike at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $7,000.

Theft — 1200 block of Skeeters Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 6:38 a.m. Wednesday. A salmon-colored Specialized Dolce bike was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 1600 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a silver computer covered in stickers and stored in a gray felt case, also covered in stickers, a messenger bag and clothing. The loss was valued at $4,148.
