Felony arrests

Assault — Daya Patricia Ann Noel, 32, of the 100 block of Garfield Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Noel Monday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Gary Leroy Biswell, 55, of the 200 block of Coral Circle, Phoenix. Phoenix police arrested Biswell Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Jessica Lea Anderson, 37, of the 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Phoenix police arrested Anderson Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and for violating her parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Theft — Ryan Stewart Lausmann, 29, of the 600 block of Midway Road, Medford. On Tuesday, Lausmann made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Manslaughter — Zachry Adam Kindred, 17, of the 700 block of Sarah Park Circle, Eagle Point. On Tuesday, Kindred made his initial appearance on two felony counts of second-degree manslaughter and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released.

Drugs — Donald Michael Lis, 26, no known address. Central Point police arrested Lis Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.

Assault — Cornelio Cortes-Cortes, 51, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cortes-Cortes Tuesday on felony charges of third- and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Strangulation — Roberto Bertiaga, 44, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Bertiaga Tuesday on felony charges of strangulation, third- and fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $27,500 bail.

Drugs — Susan Linea Burnett, 70, of Beaverton. On Tuesday, Burnett made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance and on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Patrick Simon Sesock Jr., 37, of the 6200 block of Gem Road, Central Point. On Tuesday, Sesock made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.
