Felony arrests

Drugs — Lawrence Glen Prentice, 53, of the 10700 block of Butte Falls Highway, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Prentice Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of first-degree trespassing. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Vanessa Shaylee Marie McFall, 20, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested McFall Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and second-degree trespassing, and on warrants for violating her probation on prior second-degree burglary and first-degree theft convictions. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail.

Aggravated Theft — Jesse Oliver Parker, 36, of the 200 block of West Main Street, Eagle Point. On Thursday, Parker made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Aggravated Theft — Hank Sterling Sowell, 33, of the 100 block of Daryl Lane, Eagle Point. On Thursday, Sowell made his initial court appearance on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft and second-degree burglary. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Leta Jean Schroeder, 40, of the 1400 block of Thomas Road, Medford. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Schroeder Thursday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating her parole on a prior criminally negligent homicide conviction. She remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.
