Felony arrests

Officer assault — William Bruce Daubenschmidt, 34, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Daubenschmidt Tuesday on additional felony charges of assaulting a public safety officer, and misdemeanor charges of harassment and strangulation. Daubenschmidt was originally lodged in jail Feb. 27 on two misdemeanor counts of menacing. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $55,000 bail.

Burglary — Anthony Lewis Parks, 46, of the 400 block of Newtown Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Parks Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Drugs — Jaimey Scott Faber, 24, of the 1400 block of South Obenchain Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Faber Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $520,000 bail.

Attempted Murder — Samuel Addams Buchanan, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Buchanan Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with attempted murder, first-degree assault and first-degree robbery, and for violating his probation on prior second-degree burglary and methamphetamine-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 800 block of Grant Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included school textbooks, a graphing calculator and a blue backpack. The loss was valued at $360.

Vandalism — 500 block of Marie Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 12:39 p.m. Wednesday. The damage to the vehicle’s bumper was valued at $1,000.
