Felony arrests

Theft — Richard Harold Churchill, 35, of the 600 block of Benson Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Churchill Tuesday on two additional felony counts of first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Churchill May 9 on felony charges of identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Churchill May 10 on a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $65,000 bail.

Drugs — Jake Cody Compton, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Compton Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and interfering with police and on a detainer on a previous charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Anthony James Zachman, 50, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Zachman Tuesday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Weapon — Stephanie Elise Fretz, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Fretz Tuesday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed firearm and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a second-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender — Eric Lee Toll, 74, of the 700 block of Oak Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Toll Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released.

Vehicle Theft — Tyler Dean Lowell, 26, of the 200 block of Mill Hill Road, Gold Hill. On Tuesday, Lowell made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Marijuana Delivery — Stacy Diane Atler, 38, of the first block of Comice Way, Eagle Point. Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Atler Tuesday on felony warrants charging her with unlawfully delivering a marijuana item and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $15,000 bail.

Identity Theft — Keith Douglas Duvall Jr., 41, of the 1200 block of Mt Pitt Avenue, Medford. On Tuesday, Duvall made his initial court appearance on a felony identity theft charge. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Taylor Nicole Ducote, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Ducote Tuesday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Elizabeth Jeanet Vega, 1, no known address. Medford police arrested Vega Tuesday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant for providing false information to police and for violating her parole on a prior meth-delivery conviction. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Irvin Jael Tavizon-Vidana, 20, of Salem. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Tavizon-Vidana Tuesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $507,500 bail.

Assault — Brandon Wesley Howland Smith, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Smith Tuesday on a felony charge of felony fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $17,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 3600 block of Cedar Links Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen excavator bucket at 8:45 a.m. Monday. The loss was valued at $2,000.

Vandalism — 600 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vacant office building at 11:50 a.m. Monday. Damage caused by graffiti was valued at $500.
