Felony arrests

Elude — Sebastian Jay Silva, 21, of the 1000 block of Edwina Avenue, Central Point. Talent police arrested Silva Tuesday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Zachary Brice May, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested May Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on prior convictions for failing to appear in court on previous charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender, failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday, possessing oxycodone and methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a previous attempted first-degree rape conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Sean Saipani Eli, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Eli Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on a previous charge of interfering with police. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Maria Louise Jones, 40, of the 600 block of Rose Valley Court, Central point. Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies and Medford police arrested Jones Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police, on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior meth possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Jesse Robert Butisbauch, 27, of the 600 block of West First Street, Phoenix. Phoenix police arrested Butisbauch Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Stefanie Kae Taylor, 50, of Diamond Lake. On Wednesday, Taylor made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Brenden Michael Wion, 29, of the 600 block of Catherine Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Wion made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing heroin and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Elude — Robert David Hutsell, 47, of the 3600 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Hutsell Wednesday on two felony counts of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving, and for violating his probation on a federal weapons offense. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — North Riverside Avenue and Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle window at 3:43 a.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $200.

Theft — 2300 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen womens clothing at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $99.

Vandalism — 600 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a 4-foot by 4-foot double pane window at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $200.

Theft — 200 block of South Modoc Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday. About $20 was reported stolen from the vehicle’s center console.

Vandalism — 100 block of North Fir Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a business window at 4:23 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $300.

Theft — 100 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen blue and yellow remote control boat at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $429.

Theft — 400 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen red metal gasoline canisters filled with fuel at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $70.
