Felony arrests

Robbery — John Travis Bradley, 30, of the 700 block of Helman Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Bradley Friday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and first-degree theft, and misdemeanor charges of tampering with evidence and harassment. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday on $22,500 bail.

Robbery — Elise Ann Jacks, 30, of the 700 block of Helman Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Jacks Friday on felony charges of third-degree robbery and first-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. She was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday on her own recognizance.

Sexual Abuse — Anthony Romeo Velasquez, 33, of the 2400 block of Republic Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Velasquez Friday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree sexual abuse, applying a controlled substance to the body of a minor, unlawfully delivering marijuana to a minor and first-degree criminal mistreatment. He remained lodged in jail Saturday on more than $2 million bail.

Drugs — Douglas Andrew Vanert, 52, no known address. Medford police arrested Vanert Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor count of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction.

Vehicle Theft — Cameron David Bursell, 33, of the 200 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Bursell Saturday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Aryel Lynn Arritola, 22, of the 500 block of Mountain View Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Arritola Saturday on a felony charge of delivering heroin, a felony warrant charging her with first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of interfering with police, providing false information to police, carrying a concealed knife and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $65,000 bail.

Sex Offender — Patrick John Kelliher, 70, no known address. Medford police arrested Kelliher Saturday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and a misdemeanor count of failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $12,500 bail.

Theft — Victor Ramirez-Ruiz, 41, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Ramirez-Ruiz Saturday on felony charges of first-degree theft, first-degree forgery, first-degree theft and identity theft, along with a misdemeanor charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $35,000 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 200 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 3:56 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a black HP laptop, a black Kindle Paperwhite in a red and black leather case, a red plaid wallet and a Harbor Freight flashlight. The loss was valued at $599.

Theft — 500 block of Newtown Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen white Santa Fe travel trailer at 9:18 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Burglary — 1700 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 9:56 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included Hattori Hanzo shears, a Milwaukee drill set with battery, tools including an electric screw driver and pliers, a handmade sign and a Square card reader. The loss was valued at $3,695.

Theft — 1800 block of Windward Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:49 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a silver Toshiba laptop, white Samsung tablet, DeWalt drill set, gray and blue Dremel, portable car battery jumper and a black tool case. The loss was valued at $2,309.
