Felony arrests

Drugs — Kyle Vernon James, 51, of Crescent City, California. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested James Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior coercion conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Heather Dawn Starnold, 46, of the 6300 block of Honeytree Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Starnold Saturday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, supplying contraband and possessing heroin. She was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Theft — Jennifer Marie Wooldridge, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Wooldridge Saturday on a felony charge of first-degree theft, a felony warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and first-degree trespassing. She was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Shannon Lynn Brasley, 41, of the 1000 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Phoenix police arrested Brasley Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on a warrant for violating her probation on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. She was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Vehicle Theft — Cameron Dale Bartley, 21, of the 4600 block of Eagle Trace Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Bartley Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and second-degree criminal mischief and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — John Ray Davis, 49, of the 8000 block of Gladstone Avenue, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Davis Saturday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Assault — Megan Rian Elizaeth Bogenoff, 18, no known address. Central Point police arrested Bogenoff Saturday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault consisting of domestic violence. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $7,500 bail.

Strangulation — Daniel Ray Ruby, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Ruby Saturday on felony charges of strangulation and fourth-degree assault consisting of domestic violence, and on misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $22,500 bail.

Drugs — Shelby Mae Butterfield, 54, no known address. Medford police arrested Butterfield Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear on a previous methamphetamine possession charge. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $17,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1500 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen vehicle at 5:34 a.m. Saturday. Items inside the vehicle included a baseball signed by Babe Ruth, a Homelite pressure washer, gray Craftsman toolbox and hand tools, a green 14-inch Poulan chainsaw, a yellow and black DeWalt cordless drill with batteries, a gray Skilsaw and a box of antique plastic toy soldiers. The loss was valued at $5,020.

Theft — 300 block of Ogara Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen lawn tools at 8:20 a.m. Saturday. The loss was valued at $5,000.

Burglary — 200 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included an iPhone 5S with light blue case, a large ring with blue and green inset jewels, a black Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, a Gold Digger metal detector with headphones and a Dell laptop PC. The loss was valued at $1,240.

Theft — 1400 block of Whitman Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 12:39 p.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included a ring with miner cut diamond, two gold wedding bands including one with a cross pattern, a gun with camouflage grips and a black Zeiss rifle scope. The loss was valued at $2,700.
