Felony arrests

Robbery — Marjorie Rose Anderson, of Visalia, California. Medford police arrested Anderson Thursday on two felony warrants charging her with third-degree robbery, and on misdemeanor warrants charging her with harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree theft and for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree criminal mischief charge. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Thursday because of overcrowding.

Forgery — Melanie Jean Cox, 35, of the 2900 block of Coker Butte Road, Medford. On Thursday, Cox made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree possessing a forged instrument, first-degree theft and for failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Criminal Mistreatment — Casey Miles Thompson, 40, of the 1200 block of Spring Street, Medford. On Thursday, Thompson made her initial court appearance on five felony counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Shelby Marie Gregory, 26, of the 2400 block of Elk Lane, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Gregory made her initial court appearance on felony counts of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of possessing heroin and for failing to appear in court on a prior charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Katelynn Elois Whipps, 28, of the 1700 block of Woodlawn Drive, Medford. On Thursday, Whipps made her initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Crime reports

Theft — 3100 block of Woodbriar Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included towels, alcohol and meat. The loss was valued at $1,163.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, hygiene items, a 24 karat gold locket, three 32 gigabyte SD cards, a black pea coat, purple wallet, backpack and prescription medication. The loss was valued at $1,489.

Theft — 1100 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:10 p.m. Items reported stolen included a pair or black Ray-Ban sunglasses with gold trim and all-black Ray-Bans. The loss was valued at $350.

Theft — 1400 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included gift certificates, three books, miscellaneous keys and the vehicle’s owners manual and registration. The loss was valued at $158.

Theft — 300 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen bicycles at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday. One bike was described as a Fit Nordstom bike and the other was described as a black Trek mountain bike. The loss was valued at $450.

Theft — 800 block of Taylor Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Michael Kors purse and wallet at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $300.

Theft — 1900 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle door at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $500.

Theft — 500 block of Spencer Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:27 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a tablet, Bluetooth adapter, child’s backpack, black purse, sunglasses, five cans of beer, a debit card and an Oregon Trail card. The loss was valued at $274.

Theft — 500 block of Spencer Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:17 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included white Chanel sunglasses, black Ray-Ban sunglasses and a turquoise Paul Mitchell flat iron. The loss was valued at $850.

Theft — 1000 block of East 11th Street, Medford. Medford police took a vehicle theft report at 2:48 p.m. Thursday. A CD player, speakers and subwoofer were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $350.
