Felony arrests

Supplying Contraband — John William Kohler IV, 29, of the 600 block of North Main Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kohler Wednesday on a felony charge of supplying contraband. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joseph Emanuel Ledbetter, 22, of the 600 block of Palm Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ledbetter Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, misdemeanor counts of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, third-degree theft and second-degree disorderly conduct, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior heroin-possession conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Friday without bail.

Aggravated Theft — Jesse Athal James, 33, of the 500 block of Mary Street, Medford. Medford police arrested James Thursday on felony counts of aggravated first-degree theft, possessing a stolen vehicle, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless drive, on out-of-county warrants for possessing a stolen vehicle and driving while suspended and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Assault — Brandon Carl George, 20, of the 300 block of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Jackson County Jail arrested George Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault witnessed by a minor, and on misdemeanor counts of strangulation consisting of domestic violence, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Luring a Minor — David Andrew Gillespie, 39, of the 400 block of DeBarr Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Gillespie Thursday on felony charges of luring a minor and possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $45,000 bail.

Hit-and-Run — Jared Andrew Peterson, 20, of the 600 block of Catherine Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Peterson Thursday on a felony charge of hit-and-run to an injured person, and misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault, reckless driving and second-degree criminal mischief. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — Jacob Andrew Reyes, 26, of Rancho Cordova, California. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Reyes Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $50,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Desiree Leann Miller, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Miller Thursday on a felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, on misdemeanor warrants charging her with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, third-degree theft and providing false information to police, and on an out-of-county warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of discarding refuse within 100 yards of state waters. She remained lodged in jail Friday on $35,000 bail.

Attempted Assault — Stephen Marshall Patterson, 53, of the 900 block of Second Avenue, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Patterson Friday on felony warrants charging him with attempted second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and misdemeanor warrants for resisting arrest and menacing. He was lodged in jail Friday on $12,500 bail.

Theft — Kody Lee Maple, 23, of the 1500 block of Ridge Way, Medford. On Friday, Maple made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of first-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Justine Prescilla Marie Gonzales, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Gonzales Friday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and for violating her parole on a prior heroin-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Teresa Deann Della-Rocco, 57, of the 1000 block Newland Road, Central Point. On Friday, Della-Rocco made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Elude — Nathan Wayne Nichols, 29, of the 3500 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. On Friday, Nichols made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Identity Theft — Brett James Marquez, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Marquez Friday on a felony charge of identity theft, and on misdemeanor counts of second-degree forgery and second-degree possessing a forged instrument. He was booked in the jail Friday and released.
