Felony arrests

Assault on an Officer — Charles Bee Reynolds, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Ryenolds Tuesday on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer and misdemeanor charges of harassment, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $50,000 bail.

Burglary — Gabriel Haynes Jacquat, 23, of the 500 block of Altamont Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Jacquat Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $20,000 bail.

Assault — Pamela Sue Nevitt, 47, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Nevitt Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Khristy Kaye Wilson, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Wilson Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of possessing a concealed knife and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, first- and second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday.

Theft — Robin Lorraine Carson, 40, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Carson Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and on a misdemeanor count of harassment. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.

Theft — Thomas Lee Dargie, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Dargie Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Contraband — Michael Robert Thacker, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Thacker Wednesday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior coercion conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Assault — Harley James Sharpe, 19, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sharpe Wednesday on felony charges of third-degree assault, second-degree burglary and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor count of second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $120,000 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — First block of South Orange Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a purse snatching at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday. Items inside the purse were valued at $400.

Theft — 800 block of Golf View Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of $570 in cash stolen at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft — 1000 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a Dell laptop, an opal engagement ring with two pearls, two jewelry boxes, a Nintendo Wii and two gym bags. The loss was valued at $2,400.

Theft — 2200 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday. A black and white tri-fold wallet was reported stolen. The loss and damage to the vehicle was valued at $270.

Theft — 2300 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a Microsoft Surface 4 tablet computer, Sony noise-canceling headphones, clothes and makeup, two Bric backpacks and a Bric duffel bag. The loss and damage to the vehicle was valued at $5,050.

Vandalism —1400 block of Honeysuckle Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle window at 4:56 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $200.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:46 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included Chanel makeup, a brown High & Dry backpack and a black High & Dry wallet with buckle. The loss was valued at $1,200.

Theft — 1400 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen bike with computer odometer at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $400.

Theft — 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday. A pack of Sharpie markers was reported stolen. The loss and damage to the vehicle was valued at $270.

Vandalism — 1300 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to an industrial mailbox at 10:36 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $200.

Theft — 1100 block of Peachwood Court, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a stereo system with subwoofer, a weed eater and a box of Beanie Babies. The loss was valued at $2,200.

Theft — 2100 block of Corona Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen wheelbarrow and garden tools at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $185.
