Felony arrests

Forgery — Jessica Nicole Robertson, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Robertson Monday on additional felony counts of first-degree forgery and identity theft. Medford police originally arrested Robertson June 21 for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine, possessing cocaine, first-degree forgery and second-degree theft, was charged in Jackson County Circuit June 22 with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on out-of-county warrants on previous drug possession charges. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail.

Elude — Andrew Lee Tunnell, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tunnell Tuesday on an additional felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and an additional misdemeanor count of reckless driving. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force originally arrested Tunnel Friday on felony charges of laundering a monetary instrument and felon in possession of a concealed firearm, and Tunnell was charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with a felony count of conspiring to deliver heroin. He remains lodged in the jail without bail on a California fugitive warrant.

Elude — Sheena Ann Cortez, 33, of the 1500 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Cortez Monday on felony counts of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, hit-and-run, second-degree trespassing, misdemeanor warrants charging her with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin and for violating her parole on a prior heroin-delivery conviction. She remained lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Elude — Allen Dale Mitchell, 54, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mitchell Tuesday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, delivering and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person and resisting arrest. He was additionally charged Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court with felony counts of first-degree theft, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $600,000 bail.

Sex Offender — David Shane Gilbert, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Gilbert Tuesday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex ofender and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender and failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree trespassing, and for violating his probation on a prior failure to register as a sex offender conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $35,500 bail.

Strangulation — Marcantonio Castellanos, 30, no known address. Ashland police arrested Castellanos Tuesday on a felony charge of strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.

Forgery — Jerome Patrick Aguirre, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Aguirre Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree forgery identity theft, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-second- and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $80,500 bail.

Identity Theft — Travis Eric Sapp, 40, no known address. Ashland police arrested Sapp Tuesday on felony charges of identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card, misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree theft, unlawfully entering a motor vehicle and interfering with police, and on out-of-county warrants charging him with failure to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, identity theft and credit card fraud. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $235,000 bail.

Identity Theft — Destiny Marie Maddux, 35, no known address. Ashland police arrested Maddux Tuesday on a felony charge of identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of providing false informaiton to police. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $12,500 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of West Clark Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen gold Magna mountain bike at 6:39 a.m. Tuesday. The loss and damage to a bicycle lock was valued at $172.

Theft — Laurel Avenue and 10th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black and green 29-inch Genesis bicycle. The loss and damage to a bike lock was valued at $215.

Lost Property — 1100 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a missing gold necklace with elk tooth setting and diamonds at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $5,000.

Theft — 500 block of Midway Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen orange and black riding lawnmower at 12:37 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $584.
