Felony arrests

Hit-and-run — Klarissa Elizabeth Hahn, 21, of the 1500 bock of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Hahn Friday on a felony charge of hit-and-run to an injured person. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Assault — Jack Alan Lee, 54, of the 2100 block of Hubbard Lane, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lee Friday on felony charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault consisting of domestic violence, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. He remained lodged in jail Saturday on $115,00 bail.

Drugs — Jonathan Daniel Westfall, 30, of the 100 block of Linda Lane, Shady Cove. Central Point police arrested Westfall Friday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor warrants charging him with third-degree escape, interfering with police, second-degree theft and warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree theft, harassment, and third-degree criminal mischief. He remained lodged in jail Saturday on $23,000 bail.

Weapon — John Wesley Nieman, 68, no known address. Medford police arrested Nieman Saturday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $7,500 bail.

Weapon — Andre Jordan McClure, 21, no known address. Medford police arrested McClure Saturday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Criminal Mistreatment — Erica Denise Gray, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Gray Saturday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment, and delivering and possessing cocaine. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $25,000 bail.

Sex Offender — Stevie Arta Workman Jr., 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Workman Saturday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $7,500 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen bicycle at 12:21 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Theft — 1200 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen purse and cell phone at 6:58 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $78.

Theft — 200 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen camping canopy at 2:43 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $40.

Burglary — 800 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 4:20 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included $150 worth of American Spirit cigarettes and three cans of Worthy IPA. The loss and damage to the business’ front window was valued at $656.

Theft —1400 block of Oleander Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 6:55 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a 20-inch Husqvarna chain saw, a blue, green and black Columbia backpack and VA access badges. The loss was valued at $1,840.

Theft — 600 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen bicycles at 8:07 a.m. Friday. One bike was described as a 1979 Schwinn road bike with curved handlebars, and another was a Specialized racing bike. The loss was valued at $2,700.
