Felony arrests

Marijuana — Maxwell Taylor Rudolph, 26, of Portland. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Rudolph Thursday on felony charges of unlawfully delivering and possessing a marijuana item. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday after posting bail.

Drugs — Lars Erik Emanuelsson, 31, no known address. Ashland police arrested Emanuelsson Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with violating a no-contact order and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, coercion and another case of violating a no-contact order. He remained held in jail Saturday on $65,000 bail.

Elude — Kelvin Lyle Draper, 33, of the 400 block of North Second Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Draper Friday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. He remained held in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail.

Assault — Cindy Lou Vaughn, 47, of the 14900 block of East Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Vaughn Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and a misdemeanor charge of harassment. She was booked in the jail and released Friday after posting bail.

Drugs — Lyandra F. Ponder, 22, of the 700 block of Oak Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ponder Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully possessing heroin and on a sanction for violating her probation on a previous heroin possession conviction. She remained held in jail Saturday without bail.

Money Laundering — Jimmy Wayne Crawford, 46, of the 3000 block of Old Sams Valley Road, Central Point. On Friday, Crawford made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of laundering a monetary instrument and unlawfully importing or exporting a marijuana item, and on a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully delivering a marijuana item. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Marijuana — Hakeem Napoleon Grant, 29, of Jonesboro, Georgia. On Friday, Grant made his initial court appearance on felony charges of unlawfully importing or exporting a marijuana item, unlawfully delivering a marijuana item and unlawfully possessing a marijuana item. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Marijuana — Michele Renee Jogoda, 48, of the 1000 block of North Fifth Street, Central Point. On Friday, Jogoda made her initial court appearance on felony charges of unlawfully delivering and possessing a marijuana item. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Mail Theft — George Allen Savage, 55, no known address. Central Point police arrested Savage Friday on a felony charge of mail theft, a misdemeanor warrant charging him with third-degree theft and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He remained held in jail Saturday without bail.

Burglary — Jesus Amezcua-Martinez, 46, of the 1100 block of Agate Street, Medford. On Friday, Amezcua-Martinez made his initial appearance on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Robert Paul Hill, 55, of Marysville, California. On Friday, Hill made his initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, and for manufacturing, delivering and possessing meth. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Walter Ray Lendy, 55, no known address. On Friday, Lendy made his initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, and for manufacturing, delivering and possessing meth. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Julie Marie Muskthel, 35, of Alta Loma, California. On Friday, Muskthel made her initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and for manufacturing, delivering and possessing meth. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

On Friday, Seviana made his initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, and for manufacturing, delivering and possessing meth. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Hindering — Christina Marie Clark, 44, of the 600 block of Teakwood Drive, Eagle Point. On Friday, Clark made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of hindering prosecution. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Hindering — Samantha Kathleen Seals, 20, of La Pine. On Friday, Seals made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of hindering prosecution. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Danielle Marie Denton, 34, of the 1400 bloc of Northeast Jennifer Way, Grants Pass. On Friday, Denton made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Assault — Anthony Charles Medeiros, 29, of the 700 block of Kaitlin Lane, Medford. On Friday, Medeiros made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor count of fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Michella Marie Gater, 32, of the 2500 block of Ashwood Court, Medford. On Friday, Gater made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Medford police arrested Mather Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He remained held in jail Saturday on $10,500 bail.

Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ramirez Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, a misdemeanor charge of harassment and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior second-degree assault conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Gregory Elwood Cox, 38, of the 1400 block of Gary Street, Klamath Falls. Medford police arrested Cox Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on out-of-county warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, first-degree theft and felon in possession of a weapon. He remained held in jail Saturday on $17,500 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Tabbitha Ann Binder, 31, of the 2800 block of Arrowhead Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Binder Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor count of third-degree theft and on a sanction from a previous charge of tempering with drug records. She remained held in jail Saturday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Roman Gabriel Fretz, 21, of the 2200 block of Cullison Road, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Fretz Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and identity theft, and on misdemeanor counts of second-degree forgery. He remained held in jail Saturday on $75,000 bail.

Elude — Kelly Ray Lockwood, 39, of Winston. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lockwood Friday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person, and on an out-of-county warrant for failing to appear in court on an attempt charge. He remained held in jail Saturday on $37,500 bail.

Drugs — Christopher Sean Waites, 34, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Waites Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order and for violating his parole on a prior aggravated first-degree theft conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Colin Taylor Duff, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Duff Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Hit-and-Run — Jason Joseph Coopersmith, 41, of Pacific Grove, California. Eagle Point police arrested Coopersmith Saturday on felony charges of hit-and-run to an injured person and third-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. He was held in jail Saturday on $30,000 bail.

Burglary — Daryl Lee Melfi, 47, no known address. Ashland police arrested Melfi Saturday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on misdemeano charges of second-degree theft and unlawfully entering a motor vehicle. He was held in jail Saturday on $42,500 bail.

Witness Tampering — Clarence Jean Hildenbrand III, 37, no known address. Central Point police arrested Hildenbrand Saturday on a felony charge of tampering with a witness. He was held in jail Saturday on $7,500 bail.

Elude — Tamara Sheree Berhow, 45, no known address. Central Point police arrested Berhow Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of interfering with police and reckless driving, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first- and third-degree theft. She was held in jail Saturday on $25,500 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 600 block of Belmont Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of guns stolen from a vehicle at 4:39 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $400.

Vandalism — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a window at 9:37 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $500.

Burglary — 5400 block of Hillcrest Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 8:11 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included a vehicle key fob, and gift cards to Subway and Dutch Bros. The loss was valued at $570.

Theft — 700 block of Cardley Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a vehicle break-in at 8:39 a.m. Saturday. Items reported stolen included a black Under Armor gym bag containing Gymshark workout clothing. The loss and damage to a vehicle side window was valued at $350.

Vandalism — 300 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle window at 2:33 p.m. Saturday. The damage was valued at $350.
