Felony arrests

Burglary Conspiracy — Norman Alan Ray, 39, of the 800 block of Third Street, Rogue River. Ashland police arrested Ray Tuesday on a felony charge of conspiring to commit second-degree burglary and two felony counts of first-degree burglary. He was additionally charged in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday on a felony count of conspiring to commit first-degree theft and misdemeanor charges of initiating a false report and possessing methamphetamine. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $20,000 bail.

Weapons — Branden Lee Mollett, 37, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mollett Tuesday on felony charges of felon in possession of a firearm and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and out-of-county warrants for hit-and-run and violating his parole on a prior fourth-degree assault conviction. He remained held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — David Lee Nelson, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Nelson Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his probation on a prior heroin possession conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Theft — Michael Travis Ninneman, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ninneman Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and on a misdemeanor charge of concealed possession of a firearm. He was held in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Marijuana — Logan Zachary Carr, 38, of the 9500 block of Sterling Creek Road, Jacksonville. On Wednesday, Carr made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of unlawfully manufacturing and possessing a marijuana item. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Money Laundering — Michael James Calvo, 30, of Sacramento, California. On Wednesday, Calvo made his initial court appearance on felony charges of money laundering and conspiring to import or export a marijuana product. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Ronald Cody Ragsdale, 40, no known address. Jackson county sheriff’s deputies arrested Ragsdale Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and second-degree trespassing, and on misdemeanor warrants on a contempt charge and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree theft. He was held in jail Wednesday on $42,500 bail.

Money Laundering — Francis Elvis Concepcion, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Concepcion Wednesday on a felony charge of money laundering and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. He was held in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Theft Conspiracy — Joshua Don Yates, 39, no known address. Ashland police arrested Yates Wednesday on felony charges of conspiring to commit first-degree theft, first-degree theft and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous methamphetamine possession charge. He was held in jail Wednesday on $22,500 bail.

Burglary — Seth Allen Chipley, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Chipley Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. He was held in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Burglary — Ricky A. Sommers, 18, of the 1900 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Sommers Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. He was held in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Burglary — Jamie Allen Christean, 21, no known address. Medford police arrested Christean Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. He was held in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail

Burglary — Austin Wesley Cady, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Cady Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. He was held in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Burglary — Jose R. Cartegena, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Cartegena Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. He was held in jail Wednesday on $27,500 bail.

Drugs — Jory Abel Heckman, 41, no known address. Medford police arrested Heckman Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft, second-degree trespassing, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of third-degree theft. He was held in jail Wednesday on $15,500 bail.


Crime reports

Burglary — 2600 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 4:37 a.m. Tuesday. About six cans of Skoal and Grizzly chewing tobacco were reported stolen. The loss and damage to a large single-pane window at the business was valued at $1,040.

Lost Property — 300 block of Holmes Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a missing iPhone X in a black case with a floral pattern at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 500 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen trombone at 12:11 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $490.

Theft — 500 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:49 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a black iPhone 5S sold through Consumer Cellular, a tire pump and a package of Duracell AA batteries. The loss was valued at $226.

Theft — 700 block of Cardley Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included an HP laptop and a black backpack. The loss was valued at $525.

Theft — 2300 block of Bell Court, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:03 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker and a pair of size 13 Adidas running shoes. The loss was valued at $380.

Theft — 2400 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included an eighth-generation iPod Classic, a beige Nicole Miller purse and lotions and lip gloss. The loss and damage to a rear vehicle window was valued at $680.

Vandalism — 2900 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 8:01 a.m. Wednesday. Damage to a passenger-side front window was valued at $165.

Theft — First block of Tripp Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen red and chrome cell phone at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $650.

Vandalism — 3100 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. Damage to a rear sliding window and the vehicle’s ignition was valued at $200.
