Felony arrests

Drugs — Frank Abreu Jardim, 50, of the 2700 block of Heritage Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Jardim Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a contempt charge. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $12,500 bail.

Burglary — Dyllan William Buday, 18, of the 1500 block of Kenyon Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Buday Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft. He was additionally charged in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday with felony counts of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of second-degree teft, attempted second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. He remained held in jail Friday on $30,000 bail.

Sex Offender — Adam Bruce Chapman, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Chapman Thursday on two felony warrants charging him with failing to register his address as a sex offender and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday and for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine. He remained held in jail Friday on $37,500 bail.

Rape — John Paul Woodward, 30, of the 2000 block of Williams Highway, Grants Pass. Central Point police arrested Woodward Thursday on felony charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy. He remained held in jail Friday on $100,000 bail.

Criminal Mischief — Scott William Garrison, 46, of the 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Garrison Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Credit Card Fraud — Charles D. Miller III, 34, of the 8700 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Eagle Point police arrested Miller Thursday on felony charges of fraudulent use of a credit card, first-degree forgery, aggravated identity theft, first-degree theft and on a detainer for violating his probation on a prior heroin-delivery conviction. He remained held in jail Friday without bail.

Elude — Johnathan David Vigil, 35, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Vigil Thursday on felony charges of attempt to elude police in a vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He remained held in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Weapon Use — Andres Laris, 21, of the 2200 block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Laris Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with unlawful use of a weapon and two misdemeanor warrants charging him with fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Contraband — Malia Kayann Masonheimer, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Masonheimer Friday on a felony charge of supplying contraband. She was additionally charged in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday with a misdemeanor counts of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine. She was held in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Weapon Use — Jeremy Ryan Porter, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Porter Thursday on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He remained held in jail Friday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Angelica Arlene Tavares-Zepeda, 38, of the 100 block of North Main Street, Phoenix. Phoenix police arrested Tavares-Zepeda Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing meth and for violating her parole on a prior meth possession conviction. She remained held in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Michael Jude Nolan, 71, of the 4400 block of Winnetka Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Nolan Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, and on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, interfering with police and attempting to tamper with evidence. He was held in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Sex Offender — Wesley Kevin Hoseclaw, 54, no known address. Medford police arrested Hoseclaw Friday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, and on misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and second-degree trespassing. He was held in jail Friday on $15,000 bail.

Theft — 300 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 3:38 a.m. Thursday. A black Nike backpack containing Army uniforms was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $800.

Vandalism — 2500 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a lock at 9:51 a.m. Thursday. The damage was valued at $15.

Vandalism — 800 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a chain link fence at 11:41 a.m. Thursday. The damage was valued at $200.

Theft — 700 block of West McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen blue and white tricycle at 5:00 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $300.

Theft — 1000 block of Queen Anne Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 5:56 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a New Holland pressure washer, a Husqvarna generator, a Raleigh street bicycle, and miscellaneous hand and power tools. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Theft — 1800 block of Layla Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of gun theft at 9:06 p.m. Thursday. The two stolen firearms were described as Glock semiautomatic pistols. The loss was valued at $880.

Theft — 300 block of East 12th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:00 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included assorted construction tools, a black iPhone 7 and a red and black tool bag. The loss was valued at $1,600.

Theft — First block of West Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:05 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a black wallet containing gift cards. The loss was valued at $440.

Vandalism — 800 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti at 12:16 p.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $30.

Theft — 800 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:25 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a white box containing makeup and a brown leather wallet with a Hawaiian island image on it. The loss was valued at $175.

Theft — 400 block of Highland Drive, Medford. Medford poice took a report of a stolen red and gray Honda generator at 1:14 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $949.

Theft — 100 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen white iPhone 7 and keys at 1:53 p.m. Friday. the loss was valued at $1,100.
