Felony arrests

Drugs — Ronald Burton Ragsdale, 30, of the 3000 block of South Stage Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ragsdale Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, possessing heroin and interfering with police, misdemeanor warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth, second-degree burglary, first- and second-degree theft,, second-degree trespassing and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a prior second-degree robbery conviction. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Wedensday without bail.

Sex Offender — Zachary Brice May, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested May Monday on felony charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender and possessing heroin, misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and providing false information to police, and for violating his parole on a prior attempted first-degree rape conviction. He remained held in bail Wednesday without bail.

Sex Offender — Raymond Lloyd Young, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Young Monday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree trespassing and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree burglary conviction. He remained held in bail Wednesday without bail.

Burglary — Ovie Lee Maheu, 23, of the 200 block of Alma Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Maheu Monday on a felony warrant charging him with second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with second-degree trespassing, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Contraband — Ashley Lynn Kengle, 29, of the 2700 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Kengle Tuesday on felony charges of supplying contraband, possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating her parole on a previous heroin possession conviction. She remained held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Alyonai Russia Uchytil, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Uchytil Tuesday on a felony warrant charging her with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released as of Wednesday.

Drugs — Alexander David Kinney, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Kinney Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and on out-of-county warrants or violating his probation on prior methamphetamine delivery and first-degree burglary convictions. He remained held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Taylor Nicole Ducote, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Ducote Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a felony warrant charging her with driving while suspended or revoked. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released as of Wednesday.

Drugs — Tyler John Chicano, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Chicano Wednesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He remained held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Luis Anatacio Corpus Reyna, 31, of the 300 block of Joseph Street, Central Point. On Wednesday, Reyna made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of delivering and possessing cocaine. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Money Laundering — Erasmo Ayala-Rangel, 34, of the 2900 block of Far West Avenue, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Ayala-Rangel on felony charges of laundering a monetary instrument, manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin. He was held in jail Wednesday on $3 million bail.

Elude — Amanda Melissa Turmel, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Turmel Wednesday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and assaulting a police officer, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, resisting arrest and harassment. She was held in jail Wednesday on $32,500 bail.
