ID Theft — Ariela Maricela Rivas, 22, of the 2500 block of Eaton Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Rivas Friday on an additional felony charge of identity theft and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree forgery, third-degree theft and second-degree possessing a forged instrument. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Rivas Thursday on misdemeanor warrants of failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, first-degree forgery, first-degree possessing a forged instrument, fourth-degree assault and harassment. She remained held in jail Friday on $42,500 bail.
Drugs — Shaliena Marie Newbrough, 32, of the 400 block of Oregon Terrace, Medford. Medford police arrested Newbrough Friday on additional felony warrants charging her with manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine. Talent police originally arrested Newbrough Thursday on warrants for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine and providing false information to police and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating her parole on a prior heroin possession conviction. She remained held in jail Friday without bail.
Contraband — Ashley Nicole Silva, 23, of the 100 block of Christa Lane, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Silva Thursday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous first-degree theft conviction. She was held in jail Friday without bail.
Assault — Tabari Leteef Hayes, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Hayes Friday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment, and for violating his parole on a prior aggravated first-degree animal abuse conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
Drugs — Reginald Eugene Sowell, 48, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Sowell Friday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and delivering and possessing heroin. He was held in jail Friday on $540,000 bail.
Drugs — Rachelle Lupita Coates, 27, of Sacramento, California. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Coates Friday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and delivering and possessing heroin. She was held in jail Friday on $540,000 bail.
Marijuana — Tent Leighton Bracklein, 19, of Plano, Texas. On Friday, Bracklein made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of unlawfully importing and exporting marijuana, delivering a marijuana item and a misdemeanor count of unlawfully possessing marijuana. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.
Burglary — Chase Allen Martin, 18, of the 200 block of First Avenue, Gold Hill. On Friday, Martin made his initial court appearance on felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, and on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft.
Vehicle Theft — Richard Wallace Carlyle II, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Carlyle Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was held in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.
