Felony arrests

Drugs — Christopher John Giron, 48, of the 700 block of 13th Avenue, Gold Hill. Ashland police arrested Giron Friday on additional felony charges of delivering and possessing heroin and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school. Oregon State Police originally arrested Giron Sept. 30 on a felony charge of first- and second-degree manslaughter, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempt to elude police in a vehicle. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on more than $1 million bail.

Drugs — Rachelle Lynne Summers, 38, of the 3200 block of Library Avenue, White City. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Summers Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine and for supplying contraband. She remained held in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Marijuana — Aida Iveliz Caraballo, 35, of the 1000 block of Emma Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Caraballo Thursday on felony warrants charging her with unlawfully delivering a marijuana item and possessing marijuana, and on a misdemeanor warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday.

Vehicle Theft — Brianna Lee Rodenberg, 21, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Rodenberg Thursday on a felony charge of possessing a stolen vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating her parole on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. She remained in jail Friday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Henry Maldonado, 35, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Maldonado Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree burglary conviction. He remained in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Heather Rene Ulrey, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Ulrey Friday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and for violating her probation on prior convictions of third-degree robbery, possessing meth and possessing heroin. She was held in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Sebastian Secaida, 26, no known address. Central Point police arrested Secaida Friday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine. He was held in jail Friday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Brandley Thomas Henriksen, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Henriksen Friday on felony warrants charging him with possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor warrants for felon in possession of a restricted weapon and failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin and second-degree theft. He was held in jail Friday on $37,500 bail.

Drugs — Clay Wesley Jamison, 39, of Prineville. On Friday, Jamison made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Caleb Joseph Malbeck, 32, no known address. Talen police arrested Malbeck Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor counts of second-degree trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Sex Offender — Scott Lee Ashbaugh, 27, no known address. Ashland police arrested Ashbaugh Friday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was held in jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Mail Theft — Allison Ainsworth Hager, 53, no known address. On Friday, Hager made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of mail theft. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Arson — Blein Nyles Qoi, 52, of the 2500 block of Happy Valley Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Qoi Friday on felony charges of second-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor charges of reckless burning and resisting arrest and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with interfering with someone making a police report, unlawfully entering a motor vehicle, fourth-degree assault, harassment and third-degree criminal mischief. He was held in jail Friday on $30,000 bail.

Drugs — Tyler John Chicano, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Chicano Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He was held in jail Friday on $15,000 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of North Bartlett Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 3:26 a.m. Thursday. An Electra Jazz electric guitar with wood finish was reported stolen. The loss and damage to a rear vehicle window was valued at $1,400.

Theft — First block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:31 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a black backpack containing a Nintendo Switch video game console and 6 Switch games. The loss was valued at $660.

Vandalism — 700 block of Silky Oaks Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 5:44 a.m. Thursday. Damage to a vehicle door and window seal was valued at $100.

Vandalism — East Fifth Street and North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 11:03 a.m. Thursday. Damage to a front passenger window was valued at $300.

Vandalism — 200 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti to concrete surrounding the Medford library. Damage was valued at $50.

Theft — 2900 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Samsung Galaxy Tab at 3:03 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $300.

Theft — 1900 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black Android smartphone in a gray and green Lifeproof case at 12:15 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $500.

Theft — 500 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen fuel taken from a vehicle gas tank at 11:16 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $40.

Theft — 1900 block of Pepper Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 11:38 a.m. Friday. An orange Husqvarna leaf blower valued at $350 was reported stolen.

Theft — First block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black Swiss Gear laptop backpack with red lining at 12:38 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $125.

Theft — 200 block of O’Gara Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of $3,980 cash stolen at 1:49 p.m. Friday.

Theft — 1600 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of permanent marker vandalism to a school sign at 2:21 p.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $250.

Theft — 1700 block of Sage Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen roll of heavy duty plastic at 2:25 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $220.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 4:16 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a Nintendo Switch console and a food stamp card. the loss was valued at $300.
