Felony arrests

Assault — Jordan David Johnson, 29, of the 1900 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Johnson Saturday on charges of felony assault, coercion, harassment, endangering and resisting arrest. He is being lodged in Jackson County Jail on $35,000 bail.

Assault — Cris Cruz, 21, of the 1400 block of Ridgepine Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Cruz Sunday on charges of felony assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, harassment and criminal mischief. He is being lodged on $17,500 bail.

Drugs — Edward James Thomas Torsney, 28, of the 2000 block of Highway 99, Ashland. Medford police arrested Torsney Sunday on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, a failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation for possession of cocaine. He is being held on $22,500 bail.

Assault — Teah Marie Deshane, 36, unknown address. Jacksonville police arrested Deshane Sunday on charges of felony assault of a police officer and disorderly conduct. She is being held on $13,000 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 500 block of Benson Street. Medford police took a report of a theft from a vehicle of a DeWalt skill saw, a reciprocating saw, drill, flashlight, impact wrench and batteries at 10:52 a.m Saturday. No value was listed.

Theft — King Street near 14th Street. Medford police took a report of a theft of a laptop, necklace, wallet and backpack. The value was estimated at $375.

Theft — 2300 block of Hillcrest Road. Medford police took a report of a theft of a back leather wallet and a black leather Cavin Klein wallet at 1:49 p.m. Saturday. The value was estimated at $83.

Burglary — 1000 block o Wabash Avenue. Medford police took a report of a theft of crystal vases, a large platter dish, large candlestick and bath towels at 2:24 p.m. Saturday. The value was estimated at $200.

Shoplifting — 3600 block of Crater Lake Highway. Medford police took a report of a theft of miscellaneous bedding items at 3:13 p.m. Saturday. Police recovered the items valued at $124.

Burglary — 800 block of Biddle Road. Medford police took a report of a theft of two police stun guns, three folding knives and the vandalism of a glass door at 3:14 p.m. Sunday. The value of the items stolen and vandalizes was estimated at $628.

Burglary — 900 block of North Phoenix Road. Medford police took a report of a stolen safe and a vandalized window at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The value of the item stolen and broken window was estimated at $600.

Theft — 0 block of Schulz Road. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle of Frito-Lay chips, Harvest nuts, Madison beef jerky and Grandma’s cookies at 1:32 a.m. Sunday. The value of the items was estimated at $270.

Theft — 700 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen laptop at 11:43 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $350.

Theft — 2100 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen outdoor firepit at 1:11 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $250.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 6:24 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a Dell Latitude laptop, two prescription sunglasses, two e-cigarettes, a third-generation iPad and prescription medication. The loss was valued at $1,160.

Theft — 1800 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen small camp barbecue and camp-size propane tanks at 8:35 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $208.

Burglary — 900 block of Kenyon Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary at 8:55 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a brown mountain bike, a laptop, mens clothing and a blue and white mountain bike. The loss was valued at $1,400.

Vandalism — 800 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to 20 garden plants at 12:09 p.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $300.

Theft — 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen pay-as-you-go phone taken from a vehicle at 12:21 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $200.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen vehicle key fob at 2:11 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $550.
