Felony arrests

Drugs — Kyle Daniel Fenn, 30, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Fenn Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous heroin possession charge and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior misdemeanor heroin possession conviction. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Ruben Rivera-Rodriguez, 19, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Rivera-Rodriguez Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possessing a stolen vehicle and attempt to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run, reckless driving, attempting to elude police on foot, driving under the influence of intoxicants and second-degree criminal mischief. He remained held in jail Thursday on $25,000 bail.

Assault — Kevin Shaune Gilmore, 25, of the 7700 block of 27th Street, White City. Medford police arrested Gilmore Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, misdemeanor counts of harassment, strangulation, second-degree theft and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior fourth-degree assault conviction. Drugs — Gingerrose Yolanda Wright, 22, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Phoenix police arrested Wright Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin. She was held in jail Thursday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Matthew Darren Chase, 49, of the 2300 block of East Barnett Road. Medford police arrested Chase Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous theft of services charge. He was held in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Iain Curtis Killingsworth, 36, of the 800 block of Cedar Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Killingsworth Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Randy Lee Carson, 46, of the 600 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Carson Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth delivery conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Jonathan Taylor Arce, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Arce Thursday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was held in jail Thursday on $27,500 bail.

Drugs — Aaron Drew Sargent, 44, of the 6000 block of Rock Way, Central Point. On Thursday, Sargent made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Ronald Douglas Stephens, 54, of the 600 block of Karick Way, Eagle Point. On Thursday, Stephens made a court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Evan Gregory Ortiz, 34, of the 100 block of Portland Avenue, Medford. On Thursday, Ortiz made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of manufacturing cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, and manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Hit-and-run — Janathean D’Andrew Walker, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Walker Thursday on a felony charge of failing to perform the duties of a driver to an injured person, a hit-and-run charge. He was held in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Officer Assault — Daniel George Hunt, 34, no known address. Talent police arrested Hunt Thursday on felony warrants charging him with assaulting a police officer and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, driving while suspended, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, driving while suspended, second-degree trespassing. He was held in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail.
