Felony arrests

Drugs — Kelly Patricia O’Neil, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested O’Neil Tuesday on felony charges of possessing heroin and oxycodone, and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Criminal Mischief — Taylor Reed Clark, 23, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Clark Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Andrew Michael Padilla, 23, of the 2000 block of Westwood Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Padilla Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine and misdemeanor warrants charging him with interfering with police and hit-and-run. He was held in jail Wednesday on $17,500 bail.

Drugs — Lindy Marie Kisling, 39, of the 500 block of Mae Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Kisling made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Robbery — Jason William Lee Potts, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Potts Wednesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, and on misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine and third-degree theft. He was held in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — John Charles Benson, 50, no known address. Rogue River police arrested Benson Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree theft. He was held in jail Wednesday on $10,000 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 500 block of North Fir Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 8:34 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included two Bose stereo systems and a small college-dormitory sized refrigerator. The loss was valued at $829.

Theft — 1000 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a phone and court documents. The loss and damage to a vehicle window was valued at $500.

Theft — 1100 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a bright green Dakine backpack and a pair of Leatherman trauma shears. The loss was valued at $180.

Theft — 400 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:29 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included three sets of black Samsung phone chargers, two sets of black Samsung phone earbuds and assorted paperwork. The loss was valued at $50.

Vandalism — 2400 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday. Damage to a truck bed and headlight was valued at $1,500.

Theft — 800 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen rose gold colored iPhone 8. The loss was valued at $800.

Theft — 5400 block of Hillcrest Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black Powerhouse generator at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,076.
