Felony arrests

Theft — Solomon Ben Caleb Swegar, 28, of the 700 block of Cherry Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Swegar on a felony count of first-degree theft Wednesday. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released.

Burglary — Elijah Sterling Taylor, 25, of the 600 Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Taylor on a felony count of burglary and a misdemeanor theft charge. He was lodged in the jail on $10,000 bail.

Tampering with a witness — Robert Brian Karbowski, 39, of the 1700 block of Harbeck Road, Grants Pass. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Karbowski on a felony count of tampering with a witness. He was booked into the jail and released.

Driving while suspended — David Eugene Harper II, 30, of the 11000 block of Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Harper on a felony count of driving while suspended. He was lodged in the jail on $10,000 bail.

Assault — Ricky Sommers, 18, of the 1900 block of Homeview Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Sommers on felony counts of domestic violence assault and strangulation. He was lodged in the jail on $10,000 bail.

Assault — LeDerrick Conrad Nesbitt, 63, of the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Nesbitt on Felony counts of assault and strangulation as well as a felon in possession of a weapon. He was also charged with a parole violation on a witness tampering charge and a misdemeanor count of coercion. He was lodged in the jail without bail.

Burglary — Justin Andrew Siebrecht, 23, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Siebrecht on a felony count of burglary. He was lodged in the jail on $100,000 bail.

Custodial interference — Kelly Marie Clancy, 46, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Clancy on a felony count of custodial interference. She was lodged in the jail on $15,000 bail.

Assault — James Patrick Guckian, 36, no known address. Ashland police arrested Guckian on felony counts of unlawful sue of a weapon and assault. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, menacing and harassment. He was lodged in the jail on $117,500 bail.

Failure to register — Nathaniel Steven Riddle, 21, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Riddle on a felony count of failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in the jail on $7,500 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 300 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Wednesday. Miscellaneous court documents, an Oregon driver’s license and a key to a 2016 Hyundai Tucson were stolen for a total loss of $135.

Theft — 900 block of Alta Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Clothing, a First Aid kit, emergency vehicle equipment and a Chase bank Visa card were stolen for a total loss of $200.

Vandalism — 600 block of Ellen Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalism. Three car locks were damaged for a total loss of $210.

Theft — 700 block of West 14th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft. Three gift cards were stolen for a total loss of $130.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft. Two mountain bikes, one black and red and one lime green, both specialized Rockhopper hard tail mountain bikes, were stolen for a total loss of $1,600.
