Felony arrests

Assault — Mychael Alexander Mooring, 32, of the 1300 block of Andrew Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Mooring Saturday night on a felony count of domestic violence, as well as parole violation for a previous felony assault charge and misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Assaulting an officer — Jonathan David Garza, 31, no known address. Ashland police arrested Garza Saturday night on a felony charge of assaulting an officer and misdemeanor charges of menacing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.

Unlawful use of motor vehicle — Dillon Shane Kropp, 26, of the 400 block of Hamilton Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Kropp Sunday on a felony count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, a parole violation on a previous burglary charge and a misdemeanor count of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail without bail.

Assault — Ricardo Esteban-Encarnacion, 26, of the 200 block of Kings Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Esteban-Encarnacion on felony charges of domestic violence assault and strangulation. He was also charged with failing to appear on a misdemeanor DUII charge, a misdemeanor assault charge and harassment. He was lodged in jail without bail.

Forgery — Christopher Lee McNew, 31, of the 1200 block of Walnut Street, Tigard. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested McNew Monday on a felony county of first-degree forgery and a misdemeanor count of second-degree theft. He was booked into the jail and released.

Fugitive — Manuel Joseph Mendez, 40, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mendez on a fugitive warrant out of California, with multiple charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and a felony count of unlawful use of a weapon. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of menacing. He was lodged in jail without bail.

DUII — Carrie Michelle Corbrid Miller, 32, of the 2100 block of Sunburst Court, Medford. Miller appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Monday and was charged with a felony and a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She is under home detention.

Unlawful weapon use — Joshua Tipton Poff, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Poff Monday on a felony count of unlawful use of a weapon, as well as multiple counts of menacing, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and a parole violation on a previous burglary charge. He was lodged in the jail

Crime report

Theft — 500 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Saturday night. Food, various medications, insulin, a mobile hotspot, a Blu-ray player and a 19-inch Roku television were stolen for a total loss of $431.

Vandalism — 600 block of Hamilton Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Saturday of vandalism. A driver’s side window of a car was destroyed for a total loss of $250.

Theft — 1500 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday. Multiple cosetics and clothing items were stolen for a total loss of $544.

Theft — 2200 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday. Two mountain bikes were stolen for a total loss of $2,100.

Vandalism — 2300 block of Kamerin Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalism Sunday. The impact of a scratch down the entire drivers side of a vehicle was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 4500 block of Grumman Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Sunday. A gun, ammunition, a silver wireless headset, miscellaneous clothing, ski pants, a Nike gym bag, a dome land door lights, a wallet with miscellaneous personal contents were stolen for a total loss of $2,275.

Theft — 600 block of Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft. A gold crucifix on a silver chain was stolen for a total loss of $250.

Burglary — 700 block of Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary. A Samsung and an LG smartphone were stolen for a total loss of $200.

Theft — 2500 block of Thorn Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft. Jewelry including a ruby ring and other gold rings, tanzanite gemstones, a white gold ring and costume jewelry were stolen for unidentified total loss.

Theft — 4000 block of Crater lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday. A Nintendo Switch, a comfroter set with a roadside kit, a Bluetooth speaker, a microphone and stand were stolen for a total loss of $317.

Theft — 0 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday. Various makeup products were stolen for a total loss of $300.

Theft — 2700 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Monday. An acoustic Yamaha guitar with a red pick guard, a white hand-held sewing machine, a black soft case Yamaha guitar case, and a black leather binder of documents were stolen for a total loss of $230.
