Felony arrests

Drugs — Juan Benitez Lopez, 32, of Yuba City, California. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Lopez Thursday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, delivering and possessing cocaine and delivering and possessing heroin. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $500,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Simon Artur Carroll, 31, no known address. Central Point police arrested Carroll Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was held in jail Thursday on $5,000 bail.

Drugs — Miguel Fernando Garcia-Montejano, 26, of Pasco, Washington. Central Point police arrested Garcia-Montejano Thursday on a felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, and on a Washington fugitive warrant. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Yolanda Xenia Marroquin, 26, no known address. Central Point police arrested Marroquin Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine. She was held in jail Thursday on more than $1 million bail.

Drugs — Lindsay Nicole LaPierre, 37, of Kennewick, Washington. Central Point police arrested LaPierre Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine. She was held in jail Thursday on more than $1 million bail.

Identity Theft — Talia Leann Chambers, 31, of the 1200 block of Murray Avenue, Medford. On Thursday, Chambers made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of identity theft, first-degree theft and first-degree forgery, and on a misdemeanor count of second-degree possessing a forged instrument. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Anthony Ryan Schafer, 29, no known address. Ashland police arrested Schafer Thursday on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule I controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and for violating his parole on a prior hit-and-run to an injured person conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Criminal Mistreatment — Dawn Marie Lovik, 35, of the 1800 block of Crater lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Lovik Thursday on 50 felony counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, six felony counts of first-degree theft, and on 39 misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft and five misdemeanor counts of third-degree theft. She was held in the jail Thursday on $627,500 bail.

Coercion — Shane Robert Egan, 24, of the 100 block of Hoyt Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Egan Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree assault, a felony warrant charging him with coercion, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, menacing and harassment, and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with stalking, fourth-degree assault, interfering with someone making a police report and third-degree theft. He was held in jail Thursday on $160,000 bail.

Drugs — James Michael Lawe, 38, no known address. Ashland and Talent police arrested Lawe Thursday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, strangulation and recklessly endangering another person, and on warrants for violating his probation on prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempt to elude police in a vehicle convictions. He was held in jail Thursday on $47,500 bail.


Crime reports

Theft — 2100 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. An iPad valued at $800 was reported stolen.

Theft — 1000 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of tools stolen from a building at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a Blue-Point tool kit, Snap-On torque bit set, a 12-volt screw gun, a deep dish socket set, a Snap-On digital multimeter, and a Craftsman tool box containing assorted tools. The loss was valued at $2,764.

Burglary — 1000 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a black Mongoose mountain bike, a long board with purple wheels and stickers underneath and a red Dean guitar. The loss was valued at $360.

Theft — 1500 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 4:53 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a Vince Camuto handbag and a 61-key Casio keyboard. The loss was valued at $320.

Vandalism — 1300 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a business at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday. Five windows were reported broken out. The damage was valued at $500.

Theft — 1100 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen blue Schwinn bike at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $200.

Theft — 400 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen lime green chainsaw at 1:03 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $150.

Theft — 300 block of Mae Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:10 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a DeWalt toolbox containing power tools. The loss was valued at $125.

Burglary — 600 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 8:12 a.m. Thursday. An undisclosed amount of cash and checks was reported stolen, and damage to a broken door jamb and lock was valued at $200.

Theft — 900 block of Medford Center. Medford police took a report of a stolen Schwinn Tourist bike at 10:47 a.m. Thursday. The loss and damage to the bike lock chain was valued at $110.

Theft — East Sixth and North Front streets, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 12:01 p.m. Thursday. A red High Sierra backpack containing miscellaneous clothing and socks was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $50.

Theft — 1800 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 3:16 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a rainbow bicycle with blue handlebars and black seat and a pair of Ace bolt cutters. The loss and damage to a cable lock was valued at $560
