Felony arrests

Burglary — Lucas Paul Elam, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Elam Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and harassment. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Cody Lee Stanton-Bridges, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Stanton-Bridges Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on misdemeanor charges of improperly using 911, resisting arrest, interfering with someone making a police report and harassment. He remained held in jail Wednesday on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — Kevin Christopher Graham, 42, of Federal Way, Washington. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Graham Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing cocaine. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $17,500 bail.

Drugs — Buchanan Zachariah McLaughlin, 30, of the 23600 block of Highway 62, Trail. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested McLaughlin Wednesday on felony warrants charging him with possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree sexual abuse conviction. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Elude — Daniel George Hunt, 34, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Hunt Wednesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. He was held in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.

Sex Offender — James Daniel Actor, 51, of the 1000 block of West Ninth Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Actor made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Raymond Lloyd Young, 35, of the 700 block of Cedar Street, Medford. On Friday, Young made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor count of first-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Money Laundering — Kevin Duane Heiderman, 32, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Heiderman Wednesday on felony charges of laundering money and conspiring to import or export marijuana. He was held in jail Wednesday on $17,500 bail.

Forgery — McKenzi Marie Horlacher, 22, of the 5500 block of Pioneer Road, Medford. On Friday, Horlacher made his initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree possessing a forged instrument and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.


Crime reports

Vandalism — 3200 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to seven vehicle windows at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $2,100.

Theft — 3200 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of rifles taken from a vehicle at 9:46 a.m. Tuesday. The firearms were described as a Winchester Model 70 with wood stock and a .22 pump action rifle with wood stock. The loss was valued at $350.

Theft — 300 block of Bessie Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Ruger SR40 pistol taken from a vehicle at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $400.

Vandalism — 3600 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a tire at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $80.

Burglary — 700 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to an outbuilding at 8:32 p.m. Tuesday. A black mountain bike valued at $600 was reported stolen.

Burglary — 500 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included two respiratory inhalers, five Lantis insulin pens, a carton of cigarettes and 15 meloxicam pills. The loss was valued at $1,189.

Theft — 3000 block of Bullock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen green metal detector at 9:24 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $999.

Vandalism — 100 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of graffiti at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $30.
