Felony arrests

Theft — Leonard Clarence Pullen, 45, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Pullen Friday on an additional felony charge of first-degree theft and on additional misdemeanor counts of second-degree trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief. He was additionally charged Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court with second-degree theft. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Pullen Thursday on a felony count of first-degree burglary and misdemeanor counts of first-degree trespassing and second-degree criminal mischief. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $62,500 bail.

Elude — Kyle Evan Carson, 30, of the 2900 block of Fairweather Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Carson Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor counts of attempt to elude police on foot, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person and from violating his parole on a prior assault on a police officer conviction. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Burglary Conspiracy — Brook Lynn Grinnell, 30, no known address. Ashland police arrested Grinnell Thursday on felony charges of conspiring to commit second-degree burglary and conspiring to commit first-degree criminal mischief, and on misdemeanor counts of conspiring to commit third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Burglary — Christopher Lee Grinnell, 33, of the 200 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Ashland police arrested Grinnell Thursday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief, and on misdemeanor counts of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $10,000 bail.

Theft — Matthew Alexander Witt, 34, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. On Friday, Witt made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor count of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Marie Ariste Markley, 44, of the 2000 block of Bradbury Street, Medford. On Friday, Markley made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Assault — Norman Craig Preacher, 63, no known address. Medford police arrested Preacher Friday on a felony charge of third-degree assault, and on misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault, interfering with someone making a police report and strangulation. He was lodged in jail Friday on $25,000 bail.

Burglary — Sara Ashley Kirscher, 36, no known address. Jacksonville police arrested Kirscher Friday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Friday.


Crime reports

Vandalism — 1200 block of Mt Pitt Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 7:13 a.m. Wednesday. Damage caused by scratches to the vehicle paint and glue in gas tank was valued at $900.

Theft — 500 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black and red Bluetooth stereo at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $150.

Vehicle Theft — 300 block of Earhart Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a motor vehicle theft at 9:56 a.m. Wednesday. Items inside the vehicle included a Coachman truck camper, miscellaneous clothing, a red Specialized mountain bike and guns. The loss was valued at $2,359.

Theft — 800 block of Taylor Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a 29-inch Specialized Black Rock bike with black basket at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $699.

Theft — 800 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen silver mountain bike with trailer at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Theft — 500 block of Scarlet Circle, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 3:52 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen include a fishing pole, black hard plastic rifle case and a Jackson County concealed weapon permit. The loss was valued at $280.

Theft — 1300 block of Queen Anne Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen Milwaukee drill set at 7:35 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $500.

Theft — 100 block of Oregon Terrace, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:07 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a four-piece cordless drill, saw and battery pack; DeWalt drill, battery pack and bits; bag of drill bits; two specialty water bottles and about $50 emergency cash. The loss was valued at $630.

Theft — 2900 block of Lazy Creek Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a vehicle at 10:19 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included cash, a brown tri-fold wallet and a backup camera for a car. The loss was valued at $75.

Vandalism — 1900 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a fence at 10:25 a.m. Thursday. Damage was valued at $250.

Theft — 2300 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen key used to unlock slot machines at 12:56 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $5.

Lost Property — 1000 block of East Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a lost gold ring with three rows of diamonds on top at 3:02 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $5,000.

Theft — 2200 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 4:23 p.m. Thursday. A black Android phone with black rubber case was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $195.

Vandalism — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a window at 6:47 a.m. Friday. The damage was valued at $500.

Theft — 2800 block of Seckel Court, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:55 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a Springfield Armory XD-S in holster with extra magazine and a Mossberg 590 pump shotgun. The loss was valued at $859.

Theft — 2100 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen crate containing camping supplies at 8:29 a.m. The loss was valued at $500.

Theft — 1500 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of three stolen flat-screen TVs at 11:29 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $2,550.
