Felony arrests

Drugs — Richard Moore Smith III, 35, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Smith Thursday on additional felony charges of delivering, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine. Medford police originally arrested Smith Tuesday for violating his parole on a prior heroin-manufacture conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Kyle Lee Hornsby, 24, of the 11200 block of Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hornsby Thursday on an additional felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. Oregon State Police troopers originally arrested Hornsby Wednesday on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-degree assault, possessing methamphetamine, trespassing and third-degree theft. He remained lodged in jail Friday on $150,000 bail.

Child Neglect — Matthew Dan Stienike, 36, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Stienike Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree child neglect and on a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Child Neglect — Sarah C. Masters, 30, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Masters Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree child neglect and a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Lana Jane Walker, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Walker Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin, on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge and for violating her parole on a prior first-degree theft conviction. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released.

Forgery — Daniel Murillo, 35, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force and Medford police arrested Murillo Thursday on felony charges of first-degree possessing a forged instrument and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and on a California fugitive warrant. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Heather Rene Ulrey, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Ulrey Thursday on felony charges of possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and second-degree trespassing and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released.

Robbery — Wayne Allen Breitenbauch, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Breitenbauch Friday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the jail Friday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Bryan Neil Johnson, 50, of Sacramento, California. Central Point police arrested Johnson Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.

Forgery — Jackson Anthony Batzer, 26, of the 3700 block of Pine Top Drive, Medford. On Friday, Batzer made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of first-degree forgery and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Coercion — Robert Matthew Martin, 41, of the 1400 block of Honeysuckle Avenue, Medford. On Friday, Martin made his initial court appearance on a felony coercion charge. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Stephanie Sue Koontz, 33, of the 500 block of Fairmount Street, Medford. On Friday, Koontz made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing heroin and a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Donald Scott Herndon, 45, of the 1600 block of Eagle Heights Drive, Eagle Point. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Herndon Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, and on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing marijuana. He was lodged in jail Friday on more than $1 million bail.

Drugs — Anthony James Zachman, 50, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Zachman Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Friday on $10,000 bail.

Drugs — Ryan Michael Burton, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Burton Friday on a felony charge of manufacturing and delivering heroin, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior heroin-delivery conviction. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 2400 block of Northcrest Circle, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included five Heckler and Koch P30 gun magazines, a Kirkland tool set and a work light. The loss was valued at $405.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 5:35 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a drills, a socket set, blower, black toolbox, generator, air compressor and extension cords. The loss and damage to a trailer door was valued at $1,875.

Vandalism — East Barnett Road and South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a window at 4:03 p.m. Thursday. The damage was valued at $1,500.

Theft — 2300 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 3:35 p.m. Thursday. Miscellaneous tools valued at $3,700 were reported stolen.
